Frequently Asked Questions about Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Are all Flexential Data Centers currently accessible by customers and vendors?
Over the past several months, Flexential updated the company’s policies and procedures regarding data center access to ensure the safety and security of customers, partners and staff as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. While we are still navigating through this national health crisis, Flexential recognizes our customers seek a return to some semblance of normal operations. With that in mind, effective October 26, 2020, customers are no longer required to make an advance appointment to enter our facilities.

Are people required to wear face coverings or masks to enter a Flexential facility?
As part of our ongoing commitment to be consistent with federal public health guidelines and requirements of state and local jurisdictions, all persons entering Flexential facilities are required to wear a cloth face covering or mask to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus among our employees, customers, partners and their families.

What contingency plans are in place in the event of a government-mandated lockdown?
Our data center operations staff has prepared contingency operations that allow for a lockdown of our mission-critical facilities with our staff sheltered in place to enable continued support for customers’ operations. Although we hope to never implement these contingency plans, we will update you if the status changes.
